Streaming music to your ONE Cast is straightforward when using Google Casting. To start, make sure that your ONE Cast is connected to your Google Home and that the status LED on your ONE Cast Amplifier is Green. Follow our ONE Cast setup guide for iOS here.
To make casting simple, make sure that music services are set to your prefered music streaming app inside the Google Home app, select the settings icon in Google Home.ONE Cast iOS
From the settings menu, select Music.
Inside the music settings menu, select your music streaming service from the list shown, this is YouTube Music, Google Play Music and Spotify. Other services are available, scroll down to discover other music streaming apps that can be connected directly through Google Home. Open your music streaming app and choose a song you’d like to ply, in this demonstration we’re playing Kendrick Lemar on Spotify. Select the icon at the bottom of the screen that says “Devices Available”.
From this menu, choose the Google Cast device set-up in Google Home. We created a new speaker called ‘Dining Room Speaker’, choose this device.
iPhone is connecting to ONE Cast.
From the track menu, you can see that your phone is connecting to ONE Cast. The status indicator on your ONE Cast will change from Green to White.
Select the button at the bottom of the screen to see that music is being played through your ONE Cast.
Through your iPhone/iPad, you are able to control the volume and media playback directly through your device by using the physical volume buttons and inside the Google Home application.
