Turn on the Cyrus ONE Cast and wait for the CAST LED to go from Red to a slow yellow flash.
To start casting to your Cyrus ONE cast amplifier, you will have to set it up as a Google Home device.
This process is done through the Google Home application. The set-up takes roughly 10 minutes. Your Cyrus ONE Cast will need to be powered on, with the status indicator turned to yellow and with speakers connected to the amplifier. Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device as this is essential to the setup process.
ONE Cast requires a Wi-Fi connection to cast music, streaming music may cause issues if your home internet plan is limited in bandwidth.
To start casting to your Cyrus ONE cast amplifier, you will have to set it up as a Google Home device, this can easily be done through the Google Home application. The set-up process takes 10 minutes.
Open the App Store on your device and search for ‘Google Home’ and download the top result.

To start using your Google Home application, you will need to sign in to your Google Account. Please press the “Get Started” button to continue.
Select the account to sign in with the chosen Google account or click below to sign up.
Confirm your Google account here by selecting the OK button highlighted in blue.
Once signed into the Google Home app, you’ll have to create a ‘home’, this is a group of devices on a single network. Create a new home or use the default home labelled ‘home’.
One your Home has been chosen, continue by pressing ‘Next‘
To Add your Cyrus ONE cast to your Google Home, select the ‘Add’ option.
Once you’ve selected Add, choose‘Set up Devices’.
Select ‘Set up new devices’.
For users who have previously created a Home, please skip this step
Select the home you’d like to add the ONE Cast to, this can be changed at any point through the menu settings. Press the blue ‘Next’ button at the bottom right of the screen.

The Cyrus ONE Cast has been found on your Wi-Fi network through the Google Home app, select ‘Next’ to connect.
The Google Home App is connecting to your Cyrus ONE Cast amplifier.
A chime will play out of the speakers or headphones connected to the Cyrus ONE Cast, if you hear this please select ‘Yes’.
If you didn’t hear anything play, please follow the troubleshooting guide on the Google Home App after selecting ‘Try Again‘.
You will have the opportunity to share stats and crash reports with Google, selecting either option will have no impact on device functionality.
You’re able to name and organise your devices through the Google Home app.
If you were to name the ONE Cast as ‘Dining Room’ and use the Google Voice Assistant, “Hey Google, play The Dark Side of the Moon
in the Dining room”, your Google Home would start playing that album on the Cyrus ONE Cast.
If setting up multiple devices, this is important as it may cause confusion in the future.
Select the Wi-Fi network for ONE CAST will connect to, choose from the available networks on screen and connect. ONE Cast will use the selected Wi-Fi network, allowing it to stream music. Press ‘Next‘ to continue.
ONE Cast is connecting to Wi-Fi.
Select ‘Continue’ to link your Cyrus ONE Cast to your Google account.
You will be shown what has been set-up on the ONE Cast, select any of the 3 options to change any of these.
